Paper presented by professor
Georges M. Dyens
MGD Productions in association with the Research Group in Media Arts
(GRAM) based at the Univesité du Québec à
Montréal, Canada, present a CD Rom on holography art called
HOLOGRAPHY ART: REAL VIRTUAL 3D IMAGES
This first interactive encyclopaedia is exclusively devoted to holography art and the internationally renowned artists who took over this scientific technique to express themselves in their own original creative ways.
This fabulously illustrated digital document contains hundreds of still images and tens of videos that reveal how nearly one hundred artists have used holography as their privileged tool and how it has influenced their art in return. These bold, imaginative artists are the pioneers who have accomplished a remarkable breakthrough in the art milieu by introducing new dimensions of light and space….
This CD Rom also contains a whole section of useful bibliography and references.
Professor Dyens will first give an overview of the structure of the CD Rom. He will then use some of the artwork on the CD to demonstrate how creative the artists are and how multi-facetted holography art is.
We are most grateful to those artists who helped put together this document:
